Princess frog and facebook cartoon 30 days to Facebook Freedom Day 29 Goals

Day 1 in our 30 Days to Facebook Freedom we made goals for our fanpage. Pull those out and have a look at them. Remember when you wrote this down? Now lets have a look at each goal and see if you reached them, met them, or do you think your goals were a bit ambitious.

List of goals for a Facebook Fanpage

1. Were your goals measurable?

2. Were your goals achievable?

3. How do you feel now about your original goals for your fanpage now that you know more about Facebook?

Defining and creating achievable goals is part of the marketing process. If you started with 45 fans and hoped to have 3000 fans after 2 months, was this an achievable goal based on your knowledge and understanding of Facebook strategies? If you did define this as a goal, did you put the strategies in place to support the achievement of this goal. Goal setting is two sided, set the goal just make sure that you have the strategies in place to support the goal.

It is possible to go from 45 fan to 3000 fans in 2 months if you spend the time and money to do this through many different fanpage strategies and more work than was laid out in the fanpage editorial calendar. What was provided in this program was a consistent editorial calendar that maintains  your fanpage and builds a fan base slowly. If you want to have a spike in your fan base, many different strategies need to be added to your fanpage editorial calendar.

Do a new set of goals for your tourism fanpage

So check off what you did achieve and  accomplish then redefine new goals for the next 3 months for your fanpage.

Add one more step this time to your plan. Match up the specific strategies in your editorial calendar that will help you to achieve these goals. Ensure you have put in our editorial calendar the necessary daily work that help you to reach that goal. This is a bit trickier but if you do it, and do it all then you will get closer to achieving your goals.

Do the work everyday day in and day out

In many discussions online, through email and in our comments section, we have found that our readers, bless you all, have read through our step by step guide but have not necessarily completed each suggestion that we have made. Many readers are still a bit puzzled as to why they are not getting the increases in their  fan base that they had hoped for.

If you follow the steps, every step that you have read and we have provided, you will get a greater increase in your fans. As small as a task may seem or as insignificant it may seem to you, each of these strategies are proven to work if you do them all….all of them….

Over posting, menaing posting too much, will not get you more fans. Forgetting to utilize the photo and video function will not provide a reason for your fans to come to your page or interact with you. Forgetting to interact with others through comments and likes on your fanpage wall will slow down the process of gaining new fans…really…

If you spend the time setting up your daily editorial calendar as recommended, with 2 to 3 posts per week, commenting and liking other peoples posts and liking other fan pages, you will grow your fan base. If you want to inject your fan base with  host of new fans, that can be done through face book ads, contests, backlinks and database management. Take a day, think it through and see what happens over the next few months. Schedule your next benchmark review and goal review in three months and see what happens…really…

Final day on Friday so check it out! If you have questions let us know!
